Who are you Christine?
I am a holistic sleep strategist and coach. As a certified Spencer Institute Sleep Science Coach, certified Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner and trained in the Holistic Science of Sleep Method I understand that body & mind need to work together harmoniously in order to beget great sleep. I therefore focus on emotional stress through coaching and biochemical stress through functional diagnostic lab testing.
I help those chronic insomniacs who don’t want to rely on sleeping pills but are at a point where they have to do something in order to get their energy, productivity and happiness back. I am also an Amazon #1 bestselling author, popular podcast host and also teach small as well as corporate workshops on sleep and overall health.
What about biochemical stress?
Our body doesn’t differentiate between emotional or biochemical stress. However, both interfere greatly with our sleep and are closely intertwined. Sometimes you can have a pristine sleep hygiene and yet you have a biochemical problem, like gut dysfunction, that keeps you up at night. My service really aims at looking unspecific ally at all aspects that can sabotage your body, mind and sleep and then supporting you holistically to regain a healthy balance.
Why would anyone need a sleep coach?
A lot of insomniacs kind of have an idea on what to do to get better sleep but actually sticking to a sleep hygiene or lifestyle changes is very hard. Our brain tries to protect us by sticking to old habits and hence it can seem easier to pop a pill to get the wished for results rather than to invest a little bit of time to support the body naturally. Therefore successful people have coaches because you have someone who will hold you accountable, push you on, see your blind spots and plan your lifestyle changes so that you don’t have to worry about anything but implementing small steps. Having someone making you schedule time out for yourself to have a massage for example, is a lot more efficient than just having yourself as a motivating factor.
